John and Elaine De Jager founded Partners In Learning Across Cultures (PLAC) in 2004. Over the past 15 years they developed partnerships with over thirty private Christian schools from across the United States. Partners has provided the placement and support services to international students from South Korea, China, Japan, Vietnam and Brazil. We hope to continue to expand our services and include other international communities. We invite any non-U.S. resident student to consider attending a private, Christian school in the U.S. Partners In Learning's primary focus is helping international students reach academic excellence, achieve their goal of mastering their English skills, and develop lifelong values.

Vision - PLAC envisions providing international students the best U.S. based Christian secondary-school level education available in North America.

Mission - PLAC aims to place secondary level students from around the world in high achieving Christian learning environments, preparing them for post-high school education careers and/or vocations.

Strategy - PLAC facilitates the placement of international students from around the world in U.S. based Christian middle and high school programs. PLAC also facilitates the placement of these students in Christian home stay environments, monitoring each placement to ensure the highest level of achievement possible.
